The Nest Temperature Sensor
Most homes arenโt the same temperature in every room. With the Nest Temperature Sensor, you can let your Nest Thermostat E or Nest Learning Thermostat know which room should be a certain temperature at a certain time of day. Just place it on a wall or shelf and get the right temperature, right where you want it.
Comfort from room to room
Helps make sure a certain room is the exact temperature you want it to be. Put temperature sensors in different rooms. And choose which room to prioritize when. Place it on a wall or shelf. Then forget itโs even there.
Do I need a Nest Temperature Sensor to use my Nest thermostat?
No, you don’t need a temperature sensor to use your thermostat. We designed the Nest thermostat to keep you comfortable and you don’t need a separate temperature sensor to take advantage of all the energy saving features Nest thermostats have to offer.
You can have up to six Temperature Sensors in the same house running from the same Nest Thermostat. If you do have multiple Nest Thermostats in one home, that means you can have 18 Temperature Sensors
Works with the Nest Thermostat E or the 3rd gen Nest Learning Thermostat.

When is it available in the UK?
Not yet! Currently, Temperature sensors purchased in US (not available in UK) just don’t work with the UK version of the thermostat (Possibly communication protocols)
